Electos Personal
A free, complete, ready-to-install content management system for personal, non-commercial use. Electos Personal includes the features and functionality to operate one deployed "personal" website on one server or virtual machine instance. Registration is required. A restricted-use Visual DataFlex Web Application Server is included and transparently installed with Electos Personal.

Electos Commercial
A complete, ready-to-install commercial content management system that includes the features and tools necessary to manage and deploy multiple websites. Electos Commercial is licensed per hardware server or virtual machine. A restricted-use Visual DataFlex Web Application Server is included and transparently installed with Electos Commercial.

• Enables non-technical users to embed search engine optimization keywords at the page, category or website level
• Includes “Site Manager” to manage multiple websites on the same web server.
• License allows commercial ASP hosting of Electos Content Managed Web Sites.
• Allows a “Members Area” that automatically restricts specified areas of the web site to access by visitors with login IDs and passwords

• Webshop ecommerce module with payment systems for PayPal and ProtX

Electos (bundled with a “base environment”)
Functionally equivalent to the Electos Commercial Edition - intended for users that have Visual DataFlex Studio or Visual DataFlex Web Application Server licenses (a base environment). This edition of Electos installs in either of these base environments and is used according to the terms & conditions of its license.

Electos Developer
Electos’ Visual DataFlex (www.VisualDataFlex.com) source code is available under a special license for those that wish to customize the CMS or integrate it with other solutions. A special source-code license agreement must be executed prior to delivery of the Electos Source. Developers must also have a registered, commercial Visual DataFlex Studio license and an Electos Commercial License to purchase and use the Electos Source. For each hardware server on which a customized version of Electos is installed (i.e. a modified Electos built using the Electos Source), a license fee equal to the license fee for an Electos Commercial Edition must be paid.

Visual DataFlex Web Application Server
Electos is powered by the Visual DataFlex Web Application Server - a high performance, fully integrated application server for deploying browser-based and AJAX applications, Web Services and service oriented architecture (SOA) solutions. Web Application Server is highly efficient and scalable. Internet (single server) and Enterprise (clustered, multi-server with load balancing) Editions are available to accommodate a variety of deployment requirements.
